Websites that
actually work
Your website should make it easier for the right people to choose you – not just take up space online.
We design and develop custom websites around your services, customers and goals, so visitors know who you are, what you do and how to take the next step.
Clear structure, direct messaging and solid foundations mean your website keeps working as you grow, instead of needing a rebuild every time something changes.
New websites
Starting fresh, or doing it properly for the first time. Custom‑designed around your services and customers, with structure, messaging and tech foundations built to grow with you – not just get you to launch.
Website redesigns
For sites that no longer match the standard of the business. We keep what’s still true in your content and offers, then completely rework the structure, messaging and design so the site feels current and converts better. If a light refresh is all you really need, we’ll tell you.
Ecommerce websites
WooCommerce and Shopify stores set up with payments, shipping and tax handled properly. Designed to sell, easy for your team to manage day to day.
Web applications
Quoting tools, booking flows, client portals and product finders, connected to the systems you already use – CRMs, accounting, inventory and more – so data moves automatically instead of via copy‑and‑paste.
Landing pages
Single pages with a single job for campaigns, launches, coming‑soon pages and offers. Fast to ship, built to convert, and tracked so you know what’s working.
How we build
Built properly, from
the ground up
Hand-built,
not assembled
No page builders, no theme stacked with plugins. Custom code for your site only, so it’s fast, lean and doesn’t fall over when something updates.
Fast by
default
Speed affects rankings, conversions and trust. We optimise from build, not as a patch after launch.
Built to
scale
New services, new pages, new campaigns – your site structure can grow with the business instead of needing a rebuild every time.
Secure from
day one
Locked‑down logins and hardened code, so it’s much harder for anyone to brute‑force or mess with your site.
SEO foundations
included
Clean structure, clear content hierarchy, proper metadata and fast load times, so Google actually understands what you do.
Measured,
not guessed
Enquiry tracking and analytics wired in from launch, so you can see what your website is really doing – not just how it looks.

Platforms
we build on
WordPress
Most of the services and content websites we build run on WordPress. There’s a reason over 40% of all websites on the internet run on it: it’s flexible, well‑supported and gives you full ownership of your content without any platform fees.
When it’s set up properly – custom theme, minimal plugins, regular updates – WordPress is fast and secure. The horror stories usually come from bloated, abandoned builds. We keep things clean so future you (or any competent developer) can update and extend the site without starting again.
Shopify & WooCommerce
For online stores we typically use Shopify or WooCommerce, depending on what you sell, how you take payments and whether you’re selling physical or digital products. If your store sits alongside a content‑heavy WordPress site, WooCommerce often makes more sense. If you want a standalone, hosted store with everything in one place, Shopify is usually the better fit.
The goal is the same either way: a store that’s easy to buy from and easy for your team to run day to day.

Website FAQs
What’s the difference between web design and web development?
Design is how the site looks and works for the person using it – layout, hierarchy, messaging and the path to enquiry. Development is building it – the code, Content Management System (CMS) and performance. We handle both with the same senior people, so nothing gets lost between a designer’s mockup and a developer’s build.
How much does a custom website cost?
Most custom business websites we take on start from around $8,000, with simpler starter sites from $3,000 and more complex builds (ecommerce, apps) higher. We always quote a fixed price after a short scoping chat so you know exactly where you stand.
How long does a website take?
Typically 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch for a business site. Larger builds and web applications run longer. You’ll get a clear timeline before we start.
Why WordPress instead of Wix or Squarespace?
Wix and Squarespace are built for DIY sites – quick to start, but limited once you need more than the basics and tied to ongoing platform fees. WordPress is one of the strongest platforms for SEO and flexibility. A custom WordPress website gives you full control over design, functionality and integrations, and can be improved over time without limitations.
Can you build online stores?
Yes. We design and develop ecommerce sites on Shopify and WooCommerce. The platform we recommend depends on your business model – what you sell, how you take payments and whether your store needs to sit inside a larger content site or stand on its own.
Do you design for accessibility / WCAG?
Yes. We design and build with accessibility best practices baked in – sensible heading structure, readable text sizes, good colour contrast, image alt text, form labels and layouts that work on keyboard and touch, not just a mouse. For most small and mid‑sized businesses this level of accessibility is more than enough in practice and also helps SEO.
If you have a formal requirement to meet a specific WCAG standard (for example WCAG 2.1 AA for government or enterprise), we can scope dedicated accessibility work and testing as part of the project. That can include using third‑party tools like UserWay alongside our own implementation, if that’s appropriate for your organisation.
Can you connect our website to the systems we already use?
Yes. We regularly hook websites into CRMs, booking platforms, email tools and other systems so enquiries and bookings go straight where they need to, without copy‑and‑paste.
We’ve worked with:
- HubSpot
- Zoho
- Pipedrive
- Monday
- Salesforce
- Klaviyo & Mailchimp
- Acuity / Calendly‑style booking tools
- Practice and booking platforms for clinics and studios
If your platform has an integration or API, we can usually connect it to your website or work with your provider to get it talking properly.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The site, the code, the content and the domain are all yours. You can host with us or anywhere else; if you ever leave, the site keeps working.
